Meet the Team
CEO (Chief Executive Officer)
Meet Adrienne
My Aboriginality comes from my paternal Grandmother who was a part of the stolen generation. She was moved from Camooweal to Townsville in 1909.
I oversee a busy Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community controlled Organisation. Delivering different programs supporting Mackay’s Aboriginal, Torres Strait & South Sea Islander community.
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing our children and families thriving with help from our programs, and knowledgeable, professional and empathetic local staff members.
Outside of work, my hobbies are watching movies, swimming, reading and cooking.
Operations Manager
Meet Teanna
My family are from Boigu Island in the Torres Strait Islands, and we are 4th generation locals to Mackay.
A jack of all trades, my job is to make sure that all of our staff have the right environment, equipment & skills to give the best possible service to our clients.
The most rewarding part of my job is being able to support our staff to provide the best possible service to our communities.
Outside work i play softball, and volunteer as a T-ball coach. I also like to read in my downtime and prefer a good mystery novel.
